Josh learned how to pitch this year. He was very systematic with his approach. Ethan and Becki think he was too young to be pitching. They push these kids too fast. By the end of the season Josh was ready to give up baseball all together and do karate instead. We will wait and see if he changes his mind about playing baseball next year. (Josh pitched four innings the whole season. They do not start pitching until the last half of the season and for only half the game. The rest of the time is coach pitch. We appreciate our coach and the philosophy he has. We have heard horror stories coming from our friends; the coach has a set line-up and set positions. Our coach rotates positions and line up. Every kid is given a fair chance.)
